This site hosts a number of Debian package repositories. They are not part of the official Debian distribution.
These pages/repositories are managed by the alioth project repositories. The aim is to provide a convenient way of creating staging areas and other repositories for Debian packages.
To host your packages here, please contact us via the mailing list
This is currently powered by mini-dinstall, however we will switch to dak as soon as we work out how, so you get all the features of the main repository (including signature checking, announcements, backups, ...). Hopefully one day it will be good enough to replace experimental

Some of the repositories hosted here contain experimental packages (cvs snapshots, initial builds of major new releases, experiments). Installing these on production systems is not recommended. An alternative solution is to create a Debian installation within a directory of your system; This is far easier than it sounds. See the Debian Reference Manual section on chroots.
